Plus, he mentions some of the challenges we all face at some point when reading critically..

After having watched the video, what do you think about it?
Also, what challenges do you face when reading and how could you better struggle with them?

  4. I'm totally agree with what he says. We have to take account that books are made to our benefit not for the author's benefit. We have to take in mind that reading helps us to get better the skills to express what we want to say. the reading process shows us how the grammar gives us tools to extend, in a good way, and with more precision what we want to tell. e.g the metaphor and the hyperbole. So lets read!

  6. Excellent video! I agree with everything that John Green says. I consider that some people don't spend your time reading a book just because they don't like to read. We have to know that reading a book can increase our skills reading and writing. With reading, we can also learn new words and improve grammar. Remember us that a good reader makes a good writer.

I consider that reading is very important in life,to most of the young people do not like to read, many of them think it's boring. and do not realize the benefits that reading offers. The read improve our ability to analysis, to the acquisition of new knowledge, better pronunciation and learn new words.

  9. My view point about this video is that almost everything or everything He said is right. Reading helps us to know words that we never knew before and also read and write in a good way. People say to hate reading a book or even the newspaper but There are many ways to try to read. We have to look for one of our preferred because read amplifies our vocabulary if We don't, We're killing your intellect.

  10. must take into account that books, magazines, newspaper etc were created for reading, and beyond a simple reading that you have to take the most important and what the author wants to convey in reading, because we serve to our learning. I always read books of reflection, thanks to this video I'll take more account of other readings and not just the teacher brings to class
