    1. DESCRIBE:
      - How the universe wants to be noticed.
The universe wants people to observe it, to be admire by the humans, so it reminds how little we are. This is a comment the father of Hazel makes about Gus´ sickness

      - Infinities
For Hazel It is the space of time they spent together, she says that there are small and big infinites, she wishes that her time with Gus would have been more but to look at the pictures they took together and all the memories she has about them together it was their infinite.

      - Hazel’s perception of Gus at this part of the book. .
She thinks of him as the love of her life, how brave he was and how wonderful was him, he was always thinking in ways to make her happy even to the last.

      - Prefuneral.
Gus asked Hazel and Isaac to write an Eulogy and to meet him at the Heart of Jesus Hall, there they met and each of them read the words that they will read at Gus funeral. Isaac could not contain his tears while he was reading his and also Hazel read hers.

      - Hazel’s 2nd encounter with Van Houten.
It was a total surprise for Hazel to meet Van Houten at the funeral, but she was very upset with him so she didnt want to talk to him.
The time when he got into the car with her parents there she shout at thim, asking him to get out the second time she listen to him and finally she understood why Van Houten wrote that novel. He had a daugther who also died because of the cancer at the age of 6 and he created the character of Ann, it was like giving his daughter a few more years of life.

      - Her opinions about Gus’ friends’ comments.
For her they were just words because none of them knew him as she did, also she never met them in person, so it wasnt like they were honest enough in what they where saying.

      ANSWER:

Ø What level of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is Hazel supposedly stuck on?
In the second level "Safety, steady job, insurance"

Ø What is Hazel reciting a poem about when Augustus is losing consciousness at the gas station?
“The Red Wheelbarrow” by William Carlos Williams

Ø What does Hazel think of Encouragements?
      She thougth they were bullshit

Ø What does Hazel think about religious belief?
She thought it was made only to comfort people in their pain, but they were just words that people repeat.

Ø What does Hazel think about the choices she's made at the end of the book?
As well as Gus, she was happy with the choices she has made

Ø What does Hazel talk about in her eulogy for Augustus at his actual funeral?
She just gave encouragements to Gus´parents.

Ø What do you think about the ending of the book?
Eventhough I like books with happy endings I cannot complain of this one, sickness is always painful but it showed the reality in peoples life.
As well as the book that Hazel loved "AIA" it leaves like question marks about her future, what happend to her? Did she live long? Maybe a 2nd part will come in the future, but overall it was a nice story.
