  3. Humans are different to all creatures that inhabit the world. Our lenguage is one of elements that makes us special.

According to one characteristic number explained by Yule, the displacement we can find it when we talk about any situation that occured in the past, as when I tell to my friend about my trip to Brazil in January.

The characteristic number two is the arbitrariness, when I am reading any text written in English, I find words that I don't know its meaning because his writing has no logical relatioship with its meaning. G.e: with a naked eye I can't know that the word "WE" means "nosotros" in Spanish, because its aspect isn't linked to its concept.

The third refers to productivity, an example of that is the word "Chupacabras". This term was created by people, It wasn't created by the academy; is the people with their creativity that can invent new terms joining adjectives with nouns, or verbs.

The fourth characteristic is Cultural transmission, It is being experienced by many Venezuelans that decide to go to live other country with other language. Children learn quickly because they become in part of context and they have a direct contact with the new language ay by day. I think that the adults also need to live the new language that we want to learn, because if we don't habituate our brain to new language, we cant learn it.

The last characteristic is duality, it is produced when we form several words using the same letters. For example: with the letters g,d,o we can build the words dog and got. If these letters are separated, they have no individual meaning, but when we begin to combine them, they form different concepts.

It`s a good analysis. You are right in what you mentioned. I would give you a better and more current example for productivity: selfie. That word didnt exist till a few years ago.
